It's Tebow time

All signs point toward the Denver Broncos shifting quarterbacks from Kyle Orton and launching the Tim Tebow era. Tebow replaced Orton during the Broncos' loss to the San Diego Chargers and sparked the offense for a couple of touchdown drives. Orton struggled, completing just 6 of 13 passes for 34 yards and an interception.

Tebow is a popular fan favorite as a former Heisman Trophy winner from the University of Florida.

Orton also threw three interceptions against the Green Bay Packers.

"This is a high-pressure job as a player and as a coach, and we're in a performance-based business and we have to perform," Fox said.

Tebow could use some more polish as a passer, but the fan base loves him.

"Tim Tebow sparked the team today," Fox said. "We haven't had a chance to watch the tape, we haven't had a chance to watch the film, we haven't had a chance to visit as a staff.

"So, I think at this point -- we have a bye week -- we do need to improve offensively, and it will all be up for discussion."

The people have already spoken loud and clear, though. They want Tebow.

The Broncos play the Miami Dolphins next. Will Tebow be under center?

"I have no idea," Tebow said. "Thankfully, I don't have to make those decisions. Other people do that and I just go play football."
