| Biography: |
| When the Ravens seleceted Heap at the tail end of the first round in the 2001 draft, they knew he would be Shannon Sharpe's replacement. But they also knew that Sharpe would be the perfect tutor for Heap becuase of the similarities in their games. Like Sharpe, Heap plays more like a receiver than a tight end. He has supple hands, very good downfield speed and is a force after the catch. The only flaw in Heap's game is his blocking ability.
