| Biography: |
| Jim Jones signed with the Steelers as a free agent in January 2004. He had spent the previous two seasons mainly on and off Baltimore's practice squad. The Ravens signed Jones as an undrafted free agent in 2002. Just prior to signing with the Steelers, he had an impressive 2003 season with the NFL Europe's Rhein Fire, the team that Baltimore had allocated him to. The combination guard/center will be vying for a backup spot on the Steeler line.
At Notre Dame, Jones was named to Collegfootballnews.com's All-Independent team after a senior season that saw him starting 12 games at LG as a senior.
