Notebook: Edwards placed on IR Premium Story

OWINGS MILLS -- In a surprise maneuver during the first round of roster cuts Tuesday, the Baltimore Ravens took a significant hit on their defensive line as defensive tackle Dwan Edwards was placed on injured reserve. Edwards' season is over because of a back injury incurred against the Minnesota Vikings. The former second-round draft pick will be an unrestricted free agent after the season.
