OWINGS MILLS -- Baltimore Ravens tight end Quinn Sypniewksi underwent a relatively minor surgical procedure on his left knee. This wasn't nearly as extensive as more serious repairs of the damaged joint over the past two years. Sypniewski is scheduled to be a restricted free agent, and it's unclear if the Ravens will extend a tender offer.

He's expected to be healthy enough to attempt to play next season. However, teams are traditionally averse to risk when a player has had five knee surgeries.
