Quarterback: C-plus Joe Flacco didn't do anything special, but he didn't really have to. Unlike his counterpart, Brady Quinn, he did nothing to endanger the Ravens' chances of losing the game as he maintained his trademark composure and avoided turnovers. Flacco completed 13 of 18 passes for 155 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions for a 98.1 passer rating.

Running back: B-minus
Ray Rice picked up some pivotal tough yards and also scored what turned out to be the game-winning touchdown in the third quarter to break a scoreless tie. Rice finished with 89 yards on 20 carries.

Receiver: C
Derrick Mason was the top contributor, setting up Rice's touchdown run with a key 41-yard reception in the second half. He caught three passes for 78 yards while tight end Todd Heap contributed four catches for 43 yards.

Offensive line: C-minus
Against a Browns front seven that's not too distinguished with the exception of nose guard Shaun Rogers, they struggled to protect Joe Flacco early in the game. Jared Gaither had a rough night.

Defensive line: B
Playing without defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, the Ravens recovered from some troubling early moments against running back Jamal Lewis to stonewall the Browns after halftime. The pass rush came through at timely moments.

Linebacker: B
The Ravens swarmed the Browns' running backs and kept Brady Quinn under heavy duress. Middle linebacker Ray Lewis and outside linebackers Jarret Johnson and Terrell Suggs had fairly strong games.

Secondary: B-plus
Although Brady Quinn isn't regarded as a good quarterback, the Ravens still intercepted two passes and, for a change, committed no pass interference penalties. The tackling was much crisper, but the Browns aren’t that dangerous after the catch.

Special teams: F
Steve Hauschka missed a 36-yarder wide left and had an extra point blocked. His luck may have finally run out. The Ravens have free agent kickers on speed dial. The highlight was containing return man Joshua Cribbs.
