BALTIMORE RAVENS' REPORT CARD

Quarterback: B-plus Joe Flacco wasn't spectacular, but he was incredibly efficient as he completed 20 of 25 passes for 175 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for a 109.2 passer rating. Flacco completed his last 14 passes, finishing the game with an 80 percent completion percentage to match former Ravens quarterback Elvis Grbac's franchise record.

He also eluded the Broncos' pass rushers and was only sacked twice.

Running back: B-plus
Ray Rice darted around tacklers to rush for 84 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries, also catching five passes for 24 yards. Fullback Le'Ron McClain threw some outstanding blocks and grinded out 31 yards on three carries.

Receiver: C-plus
They showed up in the clutch, especially Kelley Washington as a third-down option who produced four catches for 58 yards. Derrick Mason overcame the frustration of a botched official's call on an obvious pass interference to catch four passes for 40 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter to put it away.

Offensive line: B-plus
They did a terrific job stonewalling NFL sacks leader Elvis Dumervil. He entered the game with 10 sacks and was held to no sacks and just three tackles overall. Joe Flacco has sufficient enough time to complete 80 percent of his throws and there were big holes for Ray Rice to run through.

Defensive line: B-plus
The Broncos' seventh-ranked running game generated just 66 yards on 19 carries for an average of 3.5 yards per rush. In particular, Justin Bannan was very active and made a lot of the first hits for five tackles.

Linebacker: B-plus
Jarret Johnson set the tone with a big hit on Kyle Orton for his fifth sack of the season. Terrell Suggs recovered a fumble, but should have scored a touchdown on a dropped interception. The same thing happened to Johnson in the open field. Ray Lewis effectively shadowed Correll Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno, who combined for 55 rushing yards.

Secondary: B-plus
They did what many thought they couldn't do: shut down Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall. He caught just four passes for 24 yards as they crisply tackled him immediately. Jabar Gafney wasn't as big a factor as usual. Cornerback Domonique Foxworth was flagged for a 39-yard pass interference penalty, but that was the longest play allowed. Tight end Daniel Graham's 23-yard reception was the longest reception surrendered as they didn't give up a big play for the first time in weeks.

Special teams: A
Lardarius Webb returned a kickoff return for a 95-yard touchdown to open the second half. They smothered dangerous return man Eddie Royal, holding him to 18.7 yards per kickoff on six returns. He gained only five yards on two punt returns. Steve Hauschka rebounded from his crucial missed field goal two weeks ago to connect on three kicks from 43, 35 and 31 yards.
