OWINGS MILLS -- The Baltimore Ravens released their preseason schedule, which includes three games against NFC East opponents.

After opening with the New York Giants on Aug. 11 at M&T Bank Stadium, the Ravens host the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 17. It's a Thursday game necessitated by a conflicting Orioles home stand that weekend.

Baltimore travels to play the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 25 before concluding the preseason Aug. 31 against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field in Landover. The NFL will announce its entire regular-season schedule next month.

"These are good matchups for the preseason," Ravens coach Brian Billick said. "Finishing up with the Redskins down the road in Washington is one we know the fans will enjoy."
