Sunday's win was only the fourth time since their return in 1999 that the Browns have defeated an opponent by at least three touchdowns.

Did Sunday's 30-7 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs leave you with a surreal case of deja huh?

If so, you are not alone. The 23-point win was the Browns' largest margin of victory since a 44-6 triumph over the Arizona Cardinals on November 16, 2003. That happened so long ago that Kelly Holcomb went 29-for-35, with 392 yards and 3 TDs.

Sunday's win was only the fourth time since their return in 1999 that the Browns have defeated an opponent by at least three touchdowns.

In 2008, Braylon Edwards had 154 yards receiving and a TD as the Browns trounced the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on Monday Night Football. And in 2005, the Browns held the Miami Dolphins to just 9 pass completions and 55 yards passing in a 22-0 Cleveland victory.

So here's the full list of three-touchdown victories since the return:

* 12/09/12: Browns 30, Kansas City 7

* 10/13/08: Browns 35, N.Y. Giants 14

* 11/20/05: Browns 22, Miami 0

* 11/16/03: Browns 44, Arizona 6

Sunday's victory also marked the 13th time since their return that the Browns beat an opponent by at least two touchdowns. In addition the four victories noted above, here are the others:

* 11/07/10: Browns 34, New England 14

* 12/27/09: Browns 23. Oakland 9

* 09/30/07: Browns 27, Baltimore 13.

* 10/17/04: Browns 34. Cincinnati 17 [Featuring Garcia to Davis TD pass)

* 09/12/04: Browns 20, Baltimore 3

* 10/05/03" Browns 33, @ Pittsburgh 13 [Sunday Night Football]

* 10/20/02: Browns 34, Houston 17

* 11/25/01: Browns 18. Cincinnati 0

* 09/20/00: Browns 24, @ Cincinnati 7

If it seems like the Browns are normally on the other side of such blowout games since returning in 1999....well....Sunday's win improved their record in games decided by at least three touchdowns to 4-27.(They lost four games by 3+ touchdowns in 2009 alone!) And in games decided by at least two touchdowns or more, they have now improved to 13-54.

So just like when the Browns beat the Steelers a couple of weeks ago, let us savor this rare type of Browns victory and hope that it is a harbinger of better days ahead. Ideally, the Browns will learn to combine these two types of rarities on December 30 in Pittsburgh.
